MAFAC’S Mission Statement: MAFAC is dedicated to presenting art exhibitions and performances, promoting local artistic talents, and providing educational experiences.
June 2026
Dear Friends,
MAFAC has a new home and new energy! We moved to the accessible 2nd floor of Marshall City Hall in April and are settling into our bright, beautiful gallery area and large, efficient office space. We have a new office coordinator, Sue Paradis, and volunteers to greet you during office hours, which are listed in the enclosed flyer. We are grateful to the city for renting us this appealing location.
We continue to carry out our mission as we are in the process of planning our summer concerts, A Little Night Music. These concerts will be held at Freedom Park this year. If there’s bad weather, we’ll meet inside First Lutheran Church instead. Concerts will be held on the last two Wednesday evenings in July and the first two Wednesdays in August.
In addition, we plan to present concerts throughout the year, and they will be announced as they are scheduled. The first of those will be held on October 10 at the high school theater, when we present “A Hard Day’s Night,” a Beatles tribute. Mark your calendars now!
Additionally, our exhibits will continue to showcase area artists throughout the year, and watch for our Holiday Juried Art Event taking place in December!
Your support makes all of these programs possible! We hope you will join us as a MAFAC member. Your involvement means so much. Enclosed you will find a flyer which includes information about our organization and a detachable membership form. Please return the form at your earliest convenience. We look forward to your support!
Kind regards,
Carol Purrington, MAFAC Board President, and the MAFAC Board
